The market nobody builds for

There are hundreds of job portals for white-collar roles and the market is saturated. Meanwhile every restaurant, shop and service business in the country needs staff, hires constantly, and has almost nothing built for it.

Both sides, from empty

Three months, March to May 2025. I built the entire website content, which for a two-sided marketplace means writing for two audiences who want opposite things from the same page: an owner who needs someone by Friday, and a worker who needs to trust that the listing is real.

Then I did the harder half, which was getting both sides onto an empty platform at once. University outreach for the supply side. Community building and direct outreach to creators. Content-led acquisition aimed at the employer side.

The cold start

2,000-plus signups in Virginia, employers and workers together. Two thousand registrations in one state is still a cold start solved, which is the part of a marketplace that usually does not get solved.

Bring the thing you are actually stuck on. I will not pitch you. If I am not right for it I will say so on the call rather than in an email three weeks later.
