What I madeThen I worked the gaps the tools found: Reddit participation, press outreach on journalist contact data I sourced myself, and direct outreach to creators. What I cannot claim about itThe AI search visibility work was outreach only: nothing was placed, no coverage ran, and the visibility was never tracked to a number.

A category with no search demand

A creator subscription product with no audience and no search demand has a chicken-and-egg problem. Nobody searches for a category that does not have a name yet, so the usual keyword playbook has nothing to bid on.

The two months

Two months, January to February 2025. I built the full application content, the website and the blogs.

The blog strategy was the bet. Rather than chase the head terms, which a two-month-old platform cannot win, I wrote into the low-competition space around what the platform was for: what these creators actually do, and what people trying to learn from them are actually typing.

I also built and shipped their marketing site in Framer, headline and all: "Where knowledge flows & connections grows", with a Sign Up, Show Up, Share Something Cool section and a Create Profile, Check your Interests, Join Groups, Follow Creators, Share a Skill flow.

AI search visibility

I ran AI search visibility for them on Menttion and Searchable. Those platforms track which brands the AI engines name and cite when someone asks about a market, across ChatGPT, Claude and Perplexity, so what you get out of them is a list of the places you are absent.

Then I worked the gaps the way you actually close them, because you cannot bid on a citation. Reddit participation and community marketing. Press outreach, using journalist contact data I sourced myself. Direct outreach to YouTubers and creators.

What the content did

The blog content drove the company's organic keyword rankings in that low-competition niche.

Questions about how this was actually run?

Bring the thing you are actually stuck on. I will not pitch you. If I am not right for it I will say so on the call rather than in an email three weeks later.
